Like Water For Morphine

Live from the Emergency Department!

I just finished my CT Scan and I'm lying on a hospital stretcher as I blog this on my BB. I just got shots of Morphine and Voltarene, so I'm pretty much likable now (2 hours tops). It has been 5 days since I've been sick and today is the second time I have been at the ED in barely a week, not to mention the trips I had to the health clinic. So far, nothing has changed when it comes to my pain level. I can't even describe it precisely. To me, it's like burning/getting shot at the back/getting cut in half/an unanesthetized major surgery/someone wants you dead and wants to torture you first.
Yesterday, Morphine was able to buy me time but today--today, it's just like water.

I'm anxiously waiting for the results of the CT and I am hoping that whatever it is--it will not lead me to getting catheterized!

Earlier, my boss and colleague went to see me which really means a lot since I've got no one in this country.

Got to go now, I'm turning into a monster again.

Have You Ever Said These Words? Thursdays: Polly Pocket-ish

My girl friend had this crush on a guy friend of mine but said she's lost it because she often sees him with this one particular small girl nowadays.

I bumped into my guy friend with his new girl (I never thought that she'd be that small, my guy friend is probably 6'3" or taller and the girl is just so tiny like a little school girl! I guess I didn't pay too much attention when my girl friend said "small girl").

When I spoke to my guy friend, this sputtered out: She's cute. In a Polly Pocket kinda way.

The Prodigal Blogger

Yes. I have been Absent Without Leave. I am guilty and I will not even justify it--I call it blog-neglect.
I was on hiatus for almost 5 months and I may or may not fill you in on the details of the 5-month gap, but the more important thing is...the prodigal blogger is back.
