Bed-Ridden with Bathroom Privileges

                                                 My Pain Management Team - A Failure

So because of this almost three weeks of continuous pain that I'm having (from mid back,radiating downwards), the doctor made me do some X-rays and asked me to rest (meaning...no lifting, no strenuous activities, NO MALLING for three days). I thank my bestfriend Z who came with me to the check-up, X-ray appointment, and getting my medications and stuff. It'll be my first day at work tomorrow and I hope that the medications I'm taking will get their job done. The doctor said that I continue on my pain medications for a week and if it still doesn't work, then we'll do MRI and maybe refer me to a neuro or spine doctor. Hope things will work out fine.




Tonight, I finally had my first decent meal in four days. My chunky and crispy spaghetti (I like my spaghetti sour and with chunks of visible tomatoes): Whole wheat pasta- cooked as per package directions. Sauce: Sauté ground chicken (I don't eat pork and beef), garlic,onions in olive oil. Add okra(together with the chunky spaghetti sauce will make the perfect chunky spaghetti), broccoli, bean sprouts(this would be the crispy part, make sure not to overcook), add chunky spaghetti sauce of whatever brand you prefer. Simmer. Top spaghetti with the sauce and Parmesan cheese. Healthy and delish!
